DEANSBORO CONGREGATIONAL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST

Unicameral Council Meeting Minutes, Tuesday December 8, 2009

In attendance – Ed Townsend, Mary Dickinson, Anthony Dangler, Mary Lou Rosecrants.

The meeting was opened with an advent reading and prayer.

A motion to approve the November council minutes was made by Mary Lou Rosecrants, second by Anthony Dangler and passed.

Treasurer Ed Bishopp sent reports showing year to date income of $31,618.79 and expenses of $26,594.51. .

Ed Townsend will get the minimum quantity of envelopes with church name, numbers but no dates. A motion was made by Mary Dickinson, seconded by Mary Lou Rosecrants and passed.

Ed Townsend mentioned that he intends to send an occasional communication to the congregation separate from the newsletter.

Concerns – Ed Bishopp and Marion Schlist.

There will be communion on January 10, 2010. Christmas decorations will remain up until after that service.

There has been a request from a young Mennonite woman to use our church house for an event on January 5, 2010. A motion to allow this and accept whatever donation they feel appropriate was made by Mary Lou Rosecrants, seconded by Anthony Dangler and passed.

Motion to adjourn by Anthony Dangler, seconded by Mary Dickinson.

The next meeting will by Tuesday January 12, 2010 at 7pm.
