Educational opportunities

The United Church of Christ has an active Sunday School, with dedicated and imaginative teachers. The Sunday School meets at 8:45 during the morning service of worship, and then exits the sanctuary for their classes.

The Church encourages young people to become part of the church family. Confirmation classes help prepare them to understand their faith and take their place as responsible members of the Body of Christ.

Children are included in worship services. There are frequent talks especially for the children. From time to time the children participate in the leadership of worship.

A Bible study group meets from time to time. Bible study is often done jointly with Three Steeples United Church. Everyone is welcome. See the calendar for dates and times. [Calendar]

Educational resources may be borrowed from the Resouce Center. The Resource Center of the North Central New York Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church is open to the Deansboro UCC at no charge. The collection includes video tapes, audio cassettes, CDs, and printed publications.
