Annual Meeting Minutes
April 13, 2008

John McConnell; as the incoming Moderator opened the meeting by asking the Clerk, Edie Eastman to read the minutes from last years meeting. Judy Giannatelli made the motion, seconded by Tammy to accept the minutes. Motion passed.

A full Slate of officers was presented and Janet Dangler made the motion seconded by Tammy Sehn to accept the slate of officers. Motion passed.

We reviewed the reports from the treasurer but not enough information to clarify the questions asked. We need clarification and more specific[ Jan to Dec. ] reports from the treasurer and then have him present at a special meeting after church to answer any questions. We neglected to have a budget available for a congregational discussion and meeting last fall. Council will have to schedule one this year.

Noreen Machold made the motion, seconded by Lawrence Gilley that we accept the annual 2007 reports from the officers with the exception of the treasurers. Motion was passed.

The Diaconate will continue meeting the first Sunday after church and the next Council will be May 18 but thereafter will be meeting on the 2nd Sunday after church.

The Trustees present questioned if any Maintenance records were available. They need to be located and updated. A special file in the office will be designated for all and any information on maintenance records.

We all decided there should be more communication between the various groups who are doing a marvelous job of working for the betterment of the church. Maybe Council can delegate someone to put information in bulletin. The clerk has sent reports to all council members after any meeting either by email or letter.

This meeting was attended by 22 members and 4 friends.

A motion to adjourn was made by Joe Giannatelli at 10:50 am. Motion passed and the church service led by Lawrence continued with prayers and hymns.
